The Boss is the librarian of the Smoke.
Biography[]
The Boss is one of the few residents of the Smoke who is middle-aged. He is extremely protective of the Rusty-era books and magazines in his care.
Uglies[]
Tally, who has never seen anyone age naturally, is shocked to see a wrinkly older Ugly, much to Shay's amusement.
He dies when Special Circumstances attacks the Smoke.
