A hoverstrut is used to support building and other large construction projects; it replaces steel skeletons. Most bridges and mansions rely on them. They are magnetic and work with the city grid. In Extras it is mentioned that Shuffle Mansion is held up by hoverstruts. They are usually shaped like beams.
